Can someone tell me what these are for?

I've been digging around and finding parts I've gotten for my previous trucks. I found these Ranchos but can't for the life of me remember what they are for.

I'm pretty sure they're the quick lift struts I had gotten for my 04 but I'm not 100% sure. I just want to be certain what they are before I throw them up for sale.

The part number is RS99979 P115E2

I know what they are, I just wanted to make sure they were for 04-08 F150s

Can you find a part number on them anywhere? I assume you don't have the boxes any more.

The only number I see on them is RS99979 P115E2. I tried to google it but the only thing that comes up is Ranchos 9000 series.

The boxes in the pictures are what they were in, but they obviously aren't the correct boxes. I'm not sure if I bought them from someone that purchased them and changed their mind on installing them or what.

I've got a fuster cluck of parts for 92-96 F150s and 04-08s. It's been so long since I've even seen any of them I forget what's what now

those appear to be 04-08 struts.

The 92-96 should have a small flat flange on the bottom similar to the 97-03 IIRC

That puck is for the coil spring to sit in. It would have to be 04-08 then.

I believe you are right and I'm pretty positive they are for 04-08s. I just don't want any hassle labeling them as that and have problems later on with the buyer and end up with another problem I don't need to deal with.
