Testing the waters for aftermarket rotors & pads...

I know this question has to have been asked so many times in the past, but after looking through quite a few pages of threads and reading quite a bit, I haven't really found what I'm looking for... SO... I am looking for any and all input/opinions on a nice set of performance aftermarket rotors and pads. As far as my application goes, I tow 3k-5k lbs maybe like 2-5 times a month and go drag it at test and tune night every now and then for poops and giggles. Plus, it would be nice just to have a little extra bite to help slow down the factory 22's.

So bring it on!!! Opinions/input on different brake manufacturers? Life experiences, testimonials? I'm all ears and in need of brakes pretty dadgum soon.... As always, thanks in advance for your time y'all!

Thanks for the feedback. Really looking for info on the newer trucks and probably going to try to stick to a company a little closer to home though. Anyone else?

I know some guys who have powerstop rotors and they seem happy with the performance.

Thanks Theo! Greatly appreciate the feedback.

I actually pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered a set of Stop Tech rotors and pads. Went with cryo treated, drilled and slotted rotors. I'm sure I am gonna catch flack from a few guys for going drilled and probably hear about how cryo is a waste, but heck. It should be a definite improvement from the factory setup and last a good while. Looking forward to getting them on and seeing how they do.

i went with the z23 the middle ones, i couldnt justify the price difference since i was doing front and rear. i ended up getting them from amazon, they were the least expensive around at the time

I got UltraRotors for my 7700. Extremely happy with the performance. I tow 7000 occasionally and haul a lot of lumber, but never use it for "performance" driving. They're semi-slotted, but silent, very nicely machined, and not coated with cosmolene or junk. They bolt on out of the box. I still hit them with some brake cleaner to be sure.

They're also electrically coated with something to prevent rust. I have about 4000 miles on mine and not even any surface rust yet.
