I'm thinking about having a custom stripe put on my truck. Don't know if this is something that needs to be hand applied, or if it's something that could be made as a vinyl decal and stuck on. I want something distinctive but subtle. Nothing really flashy. Just something different. Here is what I came up with. I'm leaning towards the first rendition.

 

I'm sure either option is available in your area vinyl or paint. Here in Wisconsin there are plenty of vinyl shops out there, my brother's custom paint an vinyl business included, so I have a little insight on the subject. When it comes to vinyl be sure they're selling you a product that has UV protection in it or they will fade very quickly. Paint is most often more durable in the elements, but a quality job can cost more than vinyl will.
