Question Brake Fluid color changes?

Just hit 19,500 mi. The fluid in my M.C. use to be clear. Notices yesterday that it is now brown. What happened? Normal?

Thumbs down Jackal-

Brake fluid absorbs water. The brown is the result of this and is a "clear" (pun intended) sign that you need to replace the fluid. Flush/bleed the system.

Lightbulb

The color change is due to normal seal wear in your hydraulics. Should be changed out every two years anyway.
