best way to improve gas milage on 5.4L?

What is the best way to improve my gas milage on my '05 5.4L?

also keep up with oil chages plug chages. your air filter.

and o2's i changed my o2's and got 4 more MPGS.

What are you averaging? - The way you drive and keeping up with maintenance.

Anybody here using one of those fuel programmer devices that improve your horse power and milage?

I have a gryphon and it has a base tune.. It improved my mileage but only because it allowed me to correct the tire size for calculations really. The base tune only improve shifts the 2nd is a tow tune the third is a performance 93 tune. I dont really think they do much for gas mileage. I like it though.

Get 3.15 gear ratio.

Also get a used Honda Civic to drive.

the 3.15 axle ratio has been proven over and over and over again to yield worse mileage...

agreed. Lower gears are needed to get these beasts moving..
