You guys wanted it painted, so i painted it...

Painted the lower valance, and the bug guard with truck bed coating from autozone ($9 per can duplicolor). i used truck bed coating because it wont chip, crack or have much issue with rocks. Sanded it all with 600 grit and "prep all." Ill take a day shot of it all tomorrow so you can see how much better the bug guard looks. There are some light chips from, im guessing ice on the grille, im really tempted to use this stuff on the grille too.

enjoy, da da dah dahhh, im lovin it!
Lower valance (bug guard not painted in this pic)

another shot

Night time, but you can see how it looks. Bug guard is painted here.

that little plastic strip on the lower valance. i got in a fight with a snow drift and that part lost. the bolts popped out a bit and cracked it a little, just gonna liquid nails it back in place sooner or later.

Talking

Daytime shots, also took some closeups so you can see the texture of the duplicolor truck bed coating. It is actually pretty smooth.

what has me wondering is if the steps on the bed and rear bumper cover come off easily, i'd do them with this stuff in a minute.

the valance and tow hooks look absolutely incredible, that looks sweet.

Not sold on the bug deflector though. I suppose if it were mine and I saw it every day I would be diggin it more

But very impressive job!

i was not sold until i saw how the valance came out. but the bug guard was faded and discolored pretty bad.

ive decided to do the side steps and reap bumper cover as well. prolly do it this coming week.
