whistling noise from cold air intake

I have installed an air raid cold air intake system, as well as the poweraid throttle body spacer. When excellerating, I have a high pitched, whistling noise - I think it is from the cold air intake. However, I can't find or locate where the actual noise is coming from. Has anyone had this problem before? It started after these parts were installed.

Thanks!!

the whistle is coming form that worthless paperweight you installed between your throttle body and elbow. get a refund for the spacer it's worthless (unless you enjoy the whistle) if you read the airraid directions it says: " the whistle means it's working"

i speak from personal experience that the throttle body spacer is worthless on our trucks - obviously you think differently and I am glad you have had a positive experience unlike so many others on this site

Use that TB spacer for something more profitable, like a trotline weight.

Keep the intake, remove the tb spacer and see if the whistling noise is gone. Simple thing to check.

There's no use for a tb spacer on fuel injected engines.

yes the whistle is normal, with or without the TBS, its mostly the intake making all the noise-all of them do
I wont harrass ya about the TBS-I have one on my truck as well, but only because I got it for real cheap from company discount and havnt seen any downfalls to it yet

What's the whistle sound like? I'm just curious about them. Does it sound like my wife's windshield that wasn't installed properly, or does it sound more like a whurring of a supercharger? lol

I have a throttle body spacer and a K&N intake and i barely hear any whistle at all, the only time i hear it is at about 1600-2000 RPM and its not that loud. And yes it kinda sounds like a supercharger-only a whole lot cheaper , but in my opionion its not very loud- i can barely hear it
