Bull Bar Question

Not in all cases. It would sure be nice to have a place in front of the truck to hook to in case something ever happened.
I know what your saying. I figured if I had to Id just back right up and use my hitch. It really depends if you get a lot of snow or on a farm I guess. Since we dont get a lot of snow and I do hunt and have a 4 Wheeler and can use the back hitch if needed and know the bull bar would make the front look really cool and having the extra lights I went with it.

Yep thats the chance I took. Living in Minnesota you never know when you might hit that spot of ice and sends you into the ditch.

Took quite a bit of cutting on tha valance to install ,I did not have tow hooks

clar- did you paint the skid plate or is it just the picture? Almost looks like a gray?

I unbolted the skid plate sanded it down and used a black satin matt finish with texture then clear coated , spray cans from home depot, my truck has no crome , after this pic I bent my liciness plate to fit the skid plate and mounted center top.
The mounting bolts on this from bracket to bar are kinda small if you took a hit this would just fold up into the truck
If you wanted to mod the valance more and use longer mounting bolts to frame you could also leave the tow hooks in place
