sirius and their sound
Does anyone else notice that some sirius channels sound muffled? It seems the sound quality is terrible.

Yep - it sucks and not even close to CD quality. I'm guessing it's 96kbps or less.

I hate the fact that the satellite costs so much and sounds like s h i ttt

I guess the most popular stations get better bandwith. I wasn't happy about the quailty when I first got it. But got used to it.

It definatley isn't CD quality but I think it sounds better than the radio.

yeah its all compressed. like stated above, the more popular stations get larger bandwidth. also, i noticed the higher quality speakers you have, the more noticeable the bad sound quality comes out.
