I have an 09 that came with Sirius for 6 months. It expired and I don't plan on renewing because I personally think the sound quality sucks (96k BPS).

Some people do like it, however. I don't know what new subscription rates are, but renewals were floating around $80/year. It seems to vary depending on which phone agent you talk to. If you decide to get one, make sure the price they quote is the TOTAL price (taxes and royalty fees).

Unless you drive around alot, nope, not worth it. I find it's great because I drive trucks, 400 plus miles a day but I also don't pay for it. Mother in law renews every year as a gift. You do hear alot of different stuff and when song or artists you've saved alert you it's kinda nice. I'd go online to see if they have a sample you can try for yourself before you commit.

I love it. Can't beat all of the different stations, and you do not have to worry about losing a station if you travel.

I think it's worth it, but I'm also in my truck all the time. It's easy enough to install and you never lose the station. My favorite thing about it is you can save artists/songs and when one of them is playing on a station you have saved it alerts you. I also like that you can pause/rewind a song. Only real problem I've had is if you're going down a road with trees covering the road sometimes you lose satellite reception or it cuts in and out.
