Adding factory Sattellite to 05 F-150?
Hi guy, This is my first post on this forum, Iv been looking all over the internet to find this answer, and I can find a part but not a whole answer. I am hoping someone here can help me out.
I just purchased a 05 SC Lariat, this is my first FORD!!!! It came with the 6CD/Mp3 player, and has the AUX button.

And the model of my HU is 5L3T-18C8 15KH , according to the link above my radio would work for sattellite.
My question is, what parts would I need? the kit is 335.00 I believe i could beat this price a lot, if I knew what parts i need to purchase (tuner, harnesses, etc..), seeing i can get a sat tuner on ebay for 90.

Welcome to F150. Do a search for factory sirius install. There are a lot of threads discussing this. If there are takeouts still available from Ebay all you need is the tuner and a factory harness to connect it to your HU. And if it has never been activated you'll prob get 6 mths. free service to boot.
