1/4 mile predictions

I have a 2001 f150 2wd 5.4 with true duals w/x pipe 2.5" and a knn cai. The truck runs excellent and it does not have the spare tire. It has 3.55s and is a super cab. I am an experienced racer and I am just curious what you guys think she will run. I will be racing at sea level in nh in april.

Just the intake and exhaust, it woke it quite a bit, I am eventually going to do injectors tb maf pullies headers and high flows, then tune it, which I know will be a decent gain, but I figured being 2wd and the way it ran against my pops 13 second marauder that she be in the high 15s

I would guess you are at best 250 whp and at around 5500 lbs you are probably looking at 17.65 @ 79 mph.

My sig truck runs a 16.1 roughly. So i would say youd be in that park. Maybe slightly slower. 16.4 is probably a very good estimate.

Have you taken your 5.0 to the track yet? My buddy hit a 11.95 with just a tune, cai, o/r xpipe, and some drag radials. They are some impressive cars.

I think realistically my truck probably has around 220 at the tires but it could be more but I doubt it, but the truck definetly pulls like my 00 si did with an intake and exhaust and I ran a 15.4@89 with a 2.2 60ft. As long as I get a decent launch I don't see why I can't run a 15.7@85ish. But the proof will be in the numbers. I will update when new england dragway opens, anyone from mass or the new england area want to plan a track day at new england dragway?

No i havent, its been sitting in the garage all winter. Just took it out for the first time the other day. It only has 950 miles on it. Im looking at a CAI/Tune for it though. Should put me in the mid 12's.

Just curious how much extra power do you think would be needed to break 100mph in the 1/4 mile?
