Since the upgrade I am having issues with the left hand margin being cut off here is what i get when reading forums and it is very random on what threads it happens in and on.

Yeah it's a weird one though as it does not happen all the time. email sent

DenoFL 07-23-2012 06:29 PM

i just refrshed my page to make that come back. it happened a few times.

Richard D 07-23-2012 06:32 PM

So i tired the refresh and it was OK for a split second then it went screwy again.

DenoFL 07-23-2012 06:38 PM

what page are you on? ive tried clicking a few diff forums and haven't had it happen again.

Richard D 07-23-2012 06:45 PM

It's happening on this page.

OK I may have found a pattern as to when it happens. When i get an email notification and click the link from within the email that seems to cause the issues. If i just come to the site click NEW POSTS and then randomly check the various threads it seem to be OK.

Have you tried something besides IE?

No and I won't.
I only use IE and have been for over 20 years and I get tired of people saying try this, try that. I like IE and that is what I use. It did not have the problem until the switch and I do not have this issue on any other site I use.

Also now on my iPhone everything is cut off on the rightside but still the left side on all other computers in house.

The reason your asked if you are having the same issues with other browsers is to eliminate a setting in your IE. If for example you use Mozilla or safari and it don't cut off the its a IE setting issue. The understand that you like IE but to try and help you and the board admin narrow down the problem its helpful to try other browsers. Its no different then when your trouble shooting an engine.

I do not have another browser to try. It even is acting up on my iphone. Like I said above it seems to be associated with clicking the link that comes in the email notification. If I come to the site by my bookmark and surf it seems to be OK although it a smidge cut off on the right here are two images. But when i click the email link everything is shifted left and cut off.

Shifted Left clicking link in email

Shifted Right normal access to site

Are you using the mobile version on the iPhone as I'm having no issue on my iPhone with the mobile verison. It does seem to be a problem on the ie when using the email link. However if I use Mozilla there is no problem. So interesting to say the least.

Richard D 07-24-2012 12:38 AM

Nope I use full version with iphone also. Do not care for the mobile version

DenoFL 07-24-2012 12:52 AM

it has to be something in IE. i used the email link in IE just now and it cutoff the left side.
