Newbie Question

hey i see a lot of guys have a picture of their truck in the box when they reply to a post....how do you set that up?

Go to user cp at the top and on the left is all the stuff you can do. That picture is refered to as an avitar.

No, there are no avatars here. What you want is a signature. Note that the forum rules ask that the picture be no larger than 500x100 pixels.

You would copy and paste the image code into your signature. Resize the pic appropriately before uploading it.

glc is correct. That is a 'signature'. The size limit is to keep the pages loading smoothly and easily from various accessibility portals (mobile, etc).

ahhh....i was doing it right but my image must be too big...thanks!!

Bluejay 05-24-2012 02:49 PM

Yep, you need to use resizing software and reduce the pic size to about 500x100.
