how do I open the hood when it won't from release inside the cab?

 

The only other thing it could be is the cable is broken. Only thing I can think of to do is find where the cable is broken and pull the center of it with pliers(did this on a Chebby b4)

 

If it's just stuck. (Like my crown vic), I just pushed on the hood, when the wife pulled the cable. Sometimes I was doing hood CPR. Try spraying WD-40 onto the latch thru the grill. When I got mine opened, I srayed the living snot out of it with the WD
