Talking F-Series and Ranger highest in quality - per JD Power 2003 study

The F-Series SD is the highest quality truck as rated by the new 2003 JD Power Survey.

The F-Series beat the Tundra by a big margin in quality.

Also, the Ranger/Mazda B took top honors in the compact segment beating the Toyota Tacoma.

Ford had 5 segment winners, besting Daimler (only 1) Honda (only 1) and GM (only 3).

Glad to hear this...

Sounds like Ford is moving, yet again, in the correct direction.

That is excellent.

Chevy is good for two things:

1 - A good laugh

2 - A boat achor

STOP RIGHT THERE!

This JD Power survery ticks me off. Its all about initial quality.

Who cares that a cigarette lighter needed to be replaced on warranty, or that there was an ink stain on the seat.

Lets talk about the oft ignored JD Power survey. The one that measures quality after 5 years and 100,000 miles (and YES it does exist)

Now lets see howthe Tundra and Ram do after 100,000 hard miles.

I wanna know how this thing will hold up after driving it like its stolen for 5 or 8 years. Suddenly your Japanese and German cars are no better.

"Cause Im sorry, as solid as a Toyota is, I don't think it could put up with my driving without replacing ball joints every other week.
