Guy's what do you think of this?
I was trying to think of way's to make my truck different and noticable so I can have better chance's in the show's I do with the Cali Ford Truck club I'm in. I'm only 1 out of an handful of pre-97's so it's kind of hard keeping up with the 97+ guy's.
I have a body shop that can do anything I can imagine so I was thinking of swapping my tail light for some 97+ one's but I don't think that would be a noticable change to the normal person looking at the truck....then I see the 97+ guy's putting the billet fuel door's on there truck's so what if I did that with mine? Do you think it would look tacky with 2 billet fuel door's? I would do both tank's or none. So tacky or not? |
shave em off
Stick them behind your tail lights like the old fin cars.
Shave it clean and remove the decals Roll pan on the back Just a thought.....I am not sure where your going with your truck, it looks really good now though. |
I already am having it shaved, except the tail gate handle.
|
Are you going up or down with this truck? There is a pre 97 running around here with a roll pan and a trophy truck style bumper front and back and it looks really good.
|
it's getting lifted with a few month's.

i dont think the billet doors would look too good (just my opinion). id save the money for the lift and tires, that will definitely set you apart. after that, the sky's the limit (or the wallet :D)

rollpan
justin put a rollpan on it , ive just put one on mine(lund) and a summit flip up plate holder and a home made hitch, really cleaned up the rear end , when i get it painted ill post pics of it , with you working at a body shop it shouldent take much, myself i dont care for those crome or brushed fuel covers  any way your truck looks great. black8

Don't do the gas cap bud. Keep it clean.
Did you get my email btw? Pete |
I'm going for it, I can get a good deal since the same shop is shaving my door handles also, I'm going to put on the Ford Billet door's for the Mustang's, My truck will be in the shop for about a month :( for all the body work. I'm trying to get rid of all my chrome stuff since I'm not a fan of it, My front bumper is going for a Fab-Tech Pre-Runner/Skidplate and in the rear I'm having a place http://www.broncograveyard.com fabricate a bar bumper.
I think the billet door's will look great since they are polished aluminum so they would accent my grill and wheels. I'm just trying to get my truck more noticable at show's and not just do thing's everyone else does, so the only way to do that is body work. http://images.andale.com/f2/119/122/...Cap_in_Box.jpg |
