i want to put some bucket seats in my truck to replace the bench seat, which seats will fit? ive been keeping my eyes open for some gen1 lightning seats but no luck just yet. will explorer/ranger seats fit? are they different than regular f-150 seats at all? thanks.

 

if you want bucket seats trying ones from a ranger (60/40) would be a bitch to fab in there and you probably would have much extra space and your ride hight would be a little off i would try ones out of the same truck or a bronco and maybe you can find an eddie b. edition i got lucky and had access to a gen. 1 lightning and put the seats from that into my truck i dont know how much your willing to spend but on this website (www.truckstuff.org)this guy will custom make you some seats in any color and fabric and build them to bolt right in the good ones are about $600.00 delivered to your door but some are only $300.00 wich isnt too bad and all have center console and drink holders and stuff check it out

My g/f has nice tan leather seats in her 94 exploder but she likes my 40/20/40 Eddie B ones instead, the lumbar(sp?) is great on long trips. I'm getting rid of the middle seat/console soon, having a custom console/sub box made so it will be up for sale.
My buddies 96 XLT has the same seats but his are gray, gray would probly look better then tan in your truck.

 

yea i want gray ones, sincce the rest of my interior is gray.

Nope. Maybe in the Lariats. My 96 XLT has the cloth bench with the fold down center armrest and the adj. lumbar support air bags. It was the standard seat that year and for the 95s as well.

on my 95 i have the 2 cpatain chairs and the center console. The lumbar air bags are really nice.

not nocking the eddie`s but my lightning seats are very comfertible but their both good seats i was just the lucky ******* to get them the rest of the truck (gen 1 lightning) is for sale it has my old seat in it but ill take $2000.00 for the truck and it runs good been abused by a little punk but still in all good condition if interested let me know
