Changed instrument light colors
Thanks to PKRWUD, his tip helped me out, as I was about to go a different route with this. I followed what he did in his thread about gauge lights--pop off the cluster, peel the gague faces off, scrape off the green paint, and use a red permanent marker. I'll try to attach pics of the process.
https://www.f150online.com/galleries...w.cfm?num=1797 I did this so my instrument lights match the lights on my stereo display (red). I don't think it looks to ricey in the cab, I dig the red anyways. later scott |
Wow, you did a good job. It is a little overpowering in the photo, I bet it looks better in life.

That looks great. I wonder if I could do my guages in my 97 in blue like that instead of red.

I'm not big on all red, but that's my preference. The fact that you did it, and you now have them the way you want them is what counts! You did a GREAT job! See, it wasn't that tough. LOL.
Really, it does look like it came from the factory like that! You Done Good! Take care, -Chris |
it looks like the devil took over your truck!! It looks good but in a evil way all red and stuff.. Good job, I wouldn't have enough confidence to do that.
