Slowly but steadily I'm making progress on my MAF/custom intake project.
At this time, I'm swapping all the wires to my new computer connector (I have the A9L Mustang computer). I noticed, that pins 23 (knock sensor) and 24 (power steering switch) are not used in the Mustang A9L. My questions:
1) If I connect the knock sensor to the A9L on pin 23, will the A9L be able to use it? If not, how does the A9L detect knock? If it doesn't detect knock at all, do I just leave the knock sensor without hooking it up to the A9L?
2) Does the same apply to the power steering, i.e. should I just forget about it and cut the connector?

I'll post it here, should I find more pins that aren't used

 

Ok, I found two more interesting pins. Number 18 says 'warning signal' in my Chilton manual, but is not used in the A9L. Can I just cut it or what to do with it?
Pin 19 in the A9L goes to the Mustang fuel pump relay. It seems the F150 fuel pump doesn't need that contact, so I leave it empty, even though the A9L 'expects' a contact there?

 

I've now found out that the Mustang does not come with a knock sensor. Too bad. Does anybody know if the A9L would be able to handle a knock sensor, or is the pin just empty?
What about the other pins, anybody know?
