'55 with Roush crate motor, velocity stacks

There's a lot of over the top stuff at SEMA, but builds like this are what I always enjoyed about the show. How awesome do these velocity stacks look on top of the 427? More pics and info here.

Doesn't the screen interfere with the laminar effect?

You won't ever tell the difference. That truck will not be raced, much less driven much (if at all!). They are on there for looks and to keep debris out of the stacks.

You can count me in as one of those that doesn't like the big wheels and thin tires. Looks cheap and stupid on that truck. Otherwise, a nice build. I would have probably had 3" taken out of the top to chop it some. This model truck always had the "tank" look to it with the top sticking up so high. A modest chop and they look super fine.
