Charles says the paint job really sets this truck apart from the crowd, and I have no argument there, but I don't think it's going to fetch more than a more stock looking example. What do you think? Hot or not? More pics and info here.

I'm not a fan of any truck that's blacked out including this ol' timer. It just looks cheap. But I'm sure some kid with far too much money will bid the thing beyond all reason. The blue does look nice on that year model truck. I'm in the "not" group.

I appreciate the quality and work that went into it, but I don't like it at the same time to an extent..

Being an old fart that's a bit north of 50, I remember these trucks when they were brand new on the lot and even lightly used for many years after that..

No one ever did that kind of thing to them back then.

Maybe some chrome 17" Cragar S/S wheels and less of a blacked out deal would make it pop more for me.. But that's just me.. The paint is pretty cool looking like the old Boss 302 Mustang's from 69 and 70.

I get the whole "black out" theme these days.. That's what is popular now, but everyone does it!

All in all, a very nice truck and thumbs up to the builder/person that paid the bills...

For the record, I'm in the "not" group too. Though the work does appear to be done to a high standard.
