1986 F150 302 trans cooler lines
Hello all, I am trying to help my son who is on the other side of the country, in Oregon by phone call and text messages. . He has a 1986 F150 302 2wd and is in the process of replacing the radiator. The transmission cooler lines are not budging. The question I have is, what is used to replace or repair these lines? Do you have to custom bend and flare new lines? Or can a repair be done using rubber hose and clamps? Or can they be purchased?

Good auto parts stores that have a machine shop can make up new lines. After 30 years you probably should replace them.

Try www.inlinetube.com. Their site links you to several pages of listings of their products on both ebay and amazon. If you don't find just what you need, I would call inlinetube direct.
