Truck runs after spraying carb cleaner in intake then runs sluggish for about 10 minutes and then I hear a click and truck runs fine

 

Well now. That's interesting. It would be even more interesting if you would state the year, engine, miles, and anything else relevant about the truck

 

1993 f150xl single cab 4.9 2 wheel drive 180,000 miles

 

I'm just guessing but the truck runs in open loop mode when cold which means the computer is not adjusting the fuel mixture. After it warms up, it goes into closed loop mode and the computer adjusts the fuel mixture and ignition advance based on sensor inputs especially the O2 sensor. It sounds like it could be related. I'm a shadetree mechanic but there are some really good mechanics on the forum that will hopefully chime in.
