The driver's side power door lock in my standard cab F150 stopped working. I suspected the actuator so disconnected the rod that attaches the actuator to the door lock and am now able to lock / unlock the driver's side door with the key. I am trying to find a replacement actuator - the Dorman 76-147 looks similar to the old unit and actually indicates it is for 'Ford 1994-1980" but also says it 'does not fit" my '86 (electrical connector is reversed). LMC truck offers a door lock actuator in their 1980-1996 door components section but then specifies it is for 88-91 models. I have doubts that a junkyard actuator would be satisfactory as it would likely have the same issues as the one I have now. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement door lock actuator for the 1986 F150? Thank you.

 

Get a lot of stuff from Bronco Graveyard for the Bronco and for the 1974 F series trucks I own. If it isn't shown online, you can call them. They might have a limited amount on hand which is why they don't show it online or they can order it for you. They've never failed to get me what I need.
