Turn the key fuel pump starts but will not stop. I have read the if the ecc timer was bad the injectors would not work dew to no ground but I can spray staring fluid in the intake and in will start and run on its on just really rough. My question is if the ecc timer is bad would the injectors work after its started with the starting fluid. It was my understanding that as long as the pump is on the injectors will not work

 

Check the fuel pressure.

 

Your f/p relay under the hood may be sticking.
You can also use a test light at that location to see if the prime signal from the pcm is shutting off after acouple seconds like it's supposed to or if it's staying on.
