Im having trouble figuring out what is wrong with my truck. It wont start, wont even crank or click. I change battery, solenoid and starter and still not even a click. But my lights and gauges work...please help...any ideas on what to check next?

 

Check all the electrical connections in the starting system heavy gauge wires - both ends including the ground. Check that you have power coming to the little push-on wire on the fender mount solenoid when the key is turned to start.

Check and make sure the transmission is in neutral or park. I had the linkage pop out out at the transmission. Lever shows park, but at the transmission it's still in gear.

 

Neutral safety switch?
