springs

is it possible to salvage 3/4 t rear springs and install straight to f150>
I have a 94 f150 looking to make into a wood hauler.

I am also am stumped on the intermittent rough idle. about 2000 miles since I got it. currently has 63000 miles 4.9 5 speed. I have changed the fuel filter twice and lots of gas cleanup. new plugs, filters and reset the timing to stock(it was way off only advance to about 2-4). The truck sat for quite some time and is really running better the more I drive it but that idle... starts great runs OK until it is almost warmed up then it happens. I have not plugged it to read any codes the readers I see are all for the newer maf.

Thanks Cam

F250's have 3" wide springs.
F150 4x4's have 3" wide springs.
F150 2wd's have 2 1/2" wide springs.

You can keep your main leafs in place and just change the lower ones. The main leaf bolts almost never want to come out.
