GEtting a new tank and pump for my 1995, v8, 5.0. Ordering the parts online and my mechanic said "make sure you get the 'grommet' for the vent tube in the rear".

I think my PHD in Googling skills isnt' working too well because I can't seem to find that part or it may be called something else (my mechanic is Australian). So maybe he calls it a grommet and I'm thinking it's a gasket?

In pictures, the rear tank has 3 holes. 1 for the fuel neck, one for the pump one for the vent tube. So I need to find out what those vent tube parts are.

Turns out replacing my rear fuel pump was harder to do on my own so I got a pro to do it. Called and said my rear tank was "rusted". Yeah, it sat around forever when I bought the truck and my front is only working. Picture of the rusted pump looked like an archeological dig. And front filler hose is cracked and broken so leaks when I put gas in. Soooo., many $ later, I will have a new rear tank and new filler hoses all around.

Glad gas is getting cheaper. That's a positive.
