Rear-end could be 3.08, 3.55, or 4.10. 3.08 was generally standard, 3.55 w/ or w/o Limited Slip is common, and 4.10 L/S was usually for towing applications.
HP & torque on my '93 302 4X4 was 170 HP and 205 torque.
Not exactly what you needed, but is a start. I remember seeing about the tranny in a 4WD magazine (Peterson's 4 wheel & off-road) years ago. The website may have an archive. Good Luck!

Here are factory specs for 302 engines:
With Speed Density: 185 hp @ 3800 RPM's, 270 ft/lbs tq @ 2400 RPM's.
With Mass Air: 205 hp @ 4000 RPM's, 275 ft/lbs tq @ 3000 RPM's
A 1996 302 would have the latter engine specs. since all 302's had the mass air fuel injection setup by '96. Looking at the RPM's, I can see why some people feel the speed density system is better on plain stock trucks. The S/D has much better low-end torque figures than the M/A does. However, if you're thinking about doing anything with cylinder heads, cams or other internal engine mods, than a M/A setup hands down is the way to go because of the way it can adjust electronically to the changes.
