Bob's 1995 F150 4x4
Hello Fellow Pre-1997 F150er’s
I am new to the community and I just bought a 1995 F150 XLT Supercab 4x4 5.0L AUTO & MANUAL SHIFT TRANSFER CASE with 8FT BOX.
The truck has 263000 miles and she needs a lot of love all over. I would like to use this post to track all the improvements and welcome your thoughts along the way.
A little back story, my first truck was a 1995 F150 XL 2WD 4.9L AUTO 8FT BOX and it was the best vehicle I ever owned.
So I am looking forward to bring this old 1995 back to life.
Thanks.
Bob

First obd1 system scan
I have put less than 1k miles on the truck and getting a rough idle condition when the truck is warm. When the engine is cold, start the engine and let it idle and drive it until it warms-up. Everything is fine. Turn-off the engine, restart and the idle is rough spikes between 500-1200 RPM and sometimes stalls.
I have an OBD SCAN tool and ran the following two tests:
KOEO
Emission Status Yellow
DTC:111 (system pass)
DTC:172 (HEGO (HO2S) sensor fault/lean) (now need to check which: fault or lean?)
KOER
Emission Status Red
Cylinder #8
DTC:411 (I need to look up)
DTC:538 (I need to look up)
DTC:536 (I need to look up)
DTC:632 (I need to look up)
Please note: I put a new CAT back exhaust system when I first bought the truck and noticed that tube between CATs was rusted, busted off. So the tube is sucking clean air vs. exhaust gas.
