Double Bronco Camper Trouble

So, good buddy calls me up and says, "Comeon down, and check out the new toy."

"What is it?"

"You gotta come see..."

Anyway, figured this oughta be interesting if he won't say, and I agree on the interesting part.

Well as can be noted by the last picture, this ain't a runner. Poor lil 302 cracked a head haulin' all that weight around. So, right off the bat craigslist had a promising add for a 351 E4OD donor rig for cheap. Go down and take a look, and suprisingly it is a runner, minimal rust/rot, and a mint interior. After a new gas tank, front end parts, and new brake lines this '90 now only needs a new computer. Swappin' in a 302/E4OD computer has the tranny shiftin' like a champ, but not a good program for the 351. Oh well that search continues.

Now, the big question is spend a lot of time fixin up the '86 truck, motor swap, AOD tranny build, and who knows what else, or try to even figure out if possible and how to move the camper to the '90?

Thoughts?

Does the 86 have any sentimeantal value to your friend? If not id just switch the camper over to the 90 and call it a day.

Camper should fit better on the truck also.
Swap it and make the bronco a mudder .

No, we are thinkin' about switchin' it to the '90 Bronco. No way it would fit on a truck.

Gotta figure out what even attaches it to find out if it is even possible to remove without it coming apart.

Hey adrianspeeder, I'll give you 20$ for the whole set-up. Only thing is you gotta get it re-painted any color other than red, and the title has to reflect said color difference. I won't drive a red vehicle. All-right, you won't go for that. I've got a computer, don't know if it's solid, but it doesn't look beat, #'s are REMAN FUN1 EFI-SD47A. F3TF-12A650-ZB. I can't quite figure out what it's for, I think it's a 93 something, probably 4.9, but if you can use it, it's yours. Let me know what you think, Peace, Dave.
