Ok hears my question....Can you switch out front 4x4 spindles with a regular 2 wheel drive spindles on a 1992 f150? 4x4 is just too much money for me too fix and replace ...so i wana go to the junk yard find a 1992 ford f150 pull the whole unit out and put it in mine...i looked and the calipers,and pads are the same size... can it be done?

 

Well.... That seems like a burn the house down solution to a house having peeling paint.

I know all the 4x4 bits to the front end can bolt in place to a 4x2 truck, so if you'd get all the suspension parts down to the twin I beams and mounts you could make it work.

What is the problem you are having exactly?
