I had that, and then it went to everytime i started the truck. Means high resistance on the circuit. On mine it turned out to be that the clock spring was shot. At the dealer it's roughly a $160 dollar part, kinda tough to swallow for a stupid flashing light given that i've not had any problems with the system or accidents in the 10 yrs my dad had the truck nor the 4 i've had it.

Mine started that right after I took it in for the cruise control recall, could that have caused it?

No. The cruise recall can't cause any problems - it can make some existing problems appear, but it can't create any. The work that is done for the recall is LESS invasive than changing a light bulb. You can read the full text of the recall by clicking the black Bronco in my signature, scrolling down to the TSB/FSA album, & then finding that recall (FSA).

I have also found out my horn doesn't work, and neither does my cruise controll.

Click the tan CV in my signature & look in the Steering Column album - you need a clock spring.

Thanks for posting the codes.

Got a code 44 - so is there a tutorial or something so I can find out where these sensors are what they look like and how to mess with them?

Thanks its a 94 XLT single cab.

I answer a lot of "forum questions" in my areas of expertise so I know whats its like to answer the same question again and again :-) I don't mind but I know how it can grate on people when users don't even try to search :-)

will get around to posting an intro when time allows. we LOVE the truck. got it essentially for free. we like ford trucks.

we have burned through 4 E150 cargo vans and when I say burned I mean it. all but one had over 400,000 miles one of those we think might have busted 500k (not sure speedo did not work for some time!!) the all but one had 360k on the ticker :-)

they were useless as vehicles anymore with gas prices the way they are we stop driving them years ago. we scrapped them and use the proceeds to buy the 95 F150 XLT.

really is a nice looking truck. just needs a little bit here and their and I would even call it a looker!!

I also have a 94 E150 Club Wagon. if money were no object its the ONLY vehicle I would drive. it is "BAR NONE" the single most comfortable vehicle to drive I have ever driven in my life.

Mercedes. Rolls Royce. Lincolns you name them they don't hold a candle to my Clubwagon when it comes to "driver comfort" for us big tall heavy critters (6'4" 400 pounds)

alas it gets driven maybe twice a year now and now and then to tow the camper or boat. the club did NOT switch over to E10 very nicely (went from 19-21mpg to 12-15 mpg) but its my baby. It would have to fall apart to pieces for me to get rid of it.
