What's wrong with these pictures?
A sharp eye will pick up what's different about these trucks right away...

arent those the unibody trucks?
64/65 ish? |
Yeah, they are two totally different model years
|
Unibody trucks were built from 61-63. After 63 they were having issues with bodies cracking under flex so they stopped making them. The separate-bodied trucks had a completely different bed than the unibodies. Here's what we got here:
Here's a 65 https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-S...0/picture4.jpg And here's a 69 https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-f...57E%257E_4.JPG You can see they share a tailgate and tail lights. Unlike the trucks I posted above. These trucks are from Argentina; the 61-66 appears to have gotten a bed based on the unibody stamping and the 69-72 shared the same tail lights and 'gate as the 61-66, giving a really neat look, IMO. I routinely look at trucks for sale in South America as they got some really neat stuff down there. It may (or may not) be common knowledge that in Brasil they used the 67-72 body stampings from 72-92, changing the grille and dashes through the years. They also do some really weird things with trucks down there. Their F-series generations are way shifted from ours. For instance, here's a 70 F-100... https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-_...08498_3202.jpg What if Ford had introduced a FS Bronco in 1970 in response to the Blazer? Might've looked something like this... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-y...60221_6588.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-P...50999_8451.jpg And finally this is just a really cool restored 1975 army truck: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-o...95654_6031.jpg |

There's nothing wrong with the pics as none are unibody. A unibody looks like this:
http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/Pi...ody-oct14a.jpg There's no separate bed and no joint at the cab/bed. |
None are unibody but the 61-66 bed in Argentina is from the same stamping as the unibody bed. Compare with the NA-spec truck I posted with the separate bed. And the 67-72 has the same tailgate and tail light area as the unibody bed.
