won"t start

1991 Ford F150 Long bed XLT 302 automatic. Driving down the road and dies. Turns over but will not restart. Towed it home. This is my fathers truck.
Do not hear fuel pump when turning the truck on. Only use rear tank. Front tank has not been used in years. Replace rear fuel pump. Still turns over but does not start. Do not hear fuel pump. Change Fuel pump relay. Still turns over but does not start.
Does not seem to get spark to the plugs. change coil, change distributor, change the brain on the side of the distributor and change the brain on the truck. Still turns over but does not start.
what next? Hopefully it's something simple that we have overlooked. Going crazy trying to get it running.

Relays are new. checked fuses. New cap and rotor. Do not hear the fuel pump prime. Button for fuel under dash is pushed in. EEC did not smell burnt but did replace it.

did u get a whole fuelpump/sending unit assembly or just the pump? if pump did u shrink wrap the wires

Bought the whole assembly. Haven't changed the selector switch. But it does show how much gas is in the rear tank when switched to the rear tank. I'll have to check if power is getting to the pump. It does not prime when key is turned on.

No power to the pump. But the guage has power. No power at the relay. I can not get any codes because it doesn't show any. I tried jumping the fuel pump at the code testing wires and still no pump.
The tank selector switch shows the back tank has gas when you put it on the back tank (put 7 or 8 gallons in after I put in the new fuel pump) and the front shows empty when it's on the front tank. Can the switch still be bad?

91 is not like that. I've checked every fuse and relay on this truck. Going to put it in the shop and let them figure it out.

Yes, the tank switch can be 1/2 bad. Pull it & check for 12V going in AND coming out. These are the wire colors:

It ended up being a connector was corroded. There are about 4 or 5 connectors below the relays. It was one of those. Cleaned it up and the truck started. Found it by accident.
