1993 F150 efi 302 to carb
Ok guys in my show truck I had a bright idea to remove all the air condition components and heater stuff now my truck runs really rich and keeps fowling plugs I think I got rid of a vacuum line that should be there. My question is I've been wanting to convert it to a carb and get rid of the electronics looks a lot cleaner also. Like I said its a show truck doesn't get driven very much I know a lot of people say leave the efi I don't want to lol so what's all needed to convert it. Its a 302 with e4od trans im gonna pull the trans and install a standard trans. So any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Do yourself a favor and just fix the problem - don't create more by swapping to an antiquated fuel system that was never good to begin with. And why would you show something that's worse than stock? I'd be embarassed.
The E4OD is one of the strongest transmissions ever offered in a 1/2-ton truck; it's so strong, it's used behind turbodiesels in 1-ton trucks.

So why even bother with an engine? Just put a battery charger in it & tow it to the show. It's not like you could ever use it as a truck again.
No, I don't know what its problem is, but if you want to put a little effort into, I bet we can figure it out, and with a LOT less work & money than a carb swap. Fouling plugs is a vague description: are they OIL-fouled, or SOOT-fouled, or something else? If soot, then it's either getting too much gas, or not enough air. Get a Haynes manual & a digital multimeter, and start testing things like the HEGOs, ACT, ECT, TPS, & MAP. Is there gas (or even the odor) in the red vacuum line at the FPR? What's the fuel pressure? How many miles/years on the fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, & rotor? Do you do all the recommended maintenance, like air filter, PCV, coolant, oil/filter, ATF...? Have you ever pulled codes?
