Shift Module Location

Where is the shift module located on a 94 f150?

Shift module? Or modulator valve?

There is no separate module. The tranny is controlled by the PCM the same as the engine.

for the tranfer case motor. 4x4 is out. Transfer case and auto hubs are good so it something from the shift motor on up. When the 4x4 was working I'd here a relay click. Thats what I'm looking for. Is the transfer case controlled by the pcm as well?

Not directly, but the ESOF module receives VSS input from the EEC.
