Which studs for intake and exhaust? 96 F150 4.9l

I purchased a remanufactured head and there are no studs in it, I was planning on using my old head bolts and rocker arm studs. But I just dont think I will be able to get the exhaust and intake bolts off without breaking them. There has been many thousands of hot/cold cycles and mud, snow water etc etc on them. I want to get new bolts for these. So my I have been to a dealer and three different autoparts stores, all just stare at me with a blank look.
My question is,
1) WHat size or sizes do I need for the intake and exhaust studs?
2) where can I order them, I dont need parts make for racing
Almost forgot, its a 1996 F-150 4x4 with a 300 and a 5-speed. Fuel injected.
Glad I remembered that important part
Thanks in advance,
Bob
Maybe its not studs that I need, maybe its bolts. I havnt looked as its hard to see anything on that side of the engine, the intake covers them up. What I want to do is have all the fasteners I need for this part of the job there with me. So after I install the new head I wont have to dink around with old nuts/bolts/studs.

Yeah I saw those, looks like more than I can afford. I grabbed a small mirror and took a look at what I have, its bolts. Look to be almost 5/8" heads on them. I will dink around some more. You would think that these would be a fairly common item, seel a kit with every head. Only stuff I can find is for racing applications however. Maybe I can reach one and try to remove it. I dont want to start this project and make several parts runs.
Thanks anyway

I've never had an original manifold bolt or stud break on any of the 4.9s I've worked on. I suggest you use them since they're likely to be FAR superior to any replacements you can afford.

You know, I dont think I really need bolts rated at 200,000 psi to hold an intake and exhaust manifold on a 4.9. And 75.00 is what the afore mentioned bolt/stud kit costs.
I tried removing one exhaust and one intake bolt off today, they both broke.
I suppose I will wait till the head is here and take my chances that way. Thanks for all the info. I think more time was spent with info and comments than just a simple answer as to what size these bolts are. lol.
Thanks again.
Bob

I'm guessing no one knows because no one has ever had to buy them. That makes you the pioneer, so be sure to post up what you find so the NEXT guy can learn from you!

The tapped holes in the head are 3/8-16NC.
As to the length of the studs, you're on your own
