What is this???

I popped my hood looking around at stuff and i found this.... what is this???
look at top left, the little hose is broken..(zoomed in on bottom pic).


this image is at the top left of the 1s picture, just zoomed in.

It's for your AC. Easy fix, just use some 1/8" I.D. hose to patch it.

Or you can replace the entire line. It runs to this junction behind the passenger kick panel.



You'll know it when you see it.

Awesome! thanks a lot guys for the quick responses! i think i need to replace the whole hose because the hose now literally crumbles in my fingers.....

I forgot to ask.... what kind of hose is that and where might i be able to pick that up at? schucks??

Yep, or any other hard parts store. If you're unsure just take a length of the original stuff in with you and ask the oldest worker for assistance. The replacement tubing will probably be black, but they shouldn't have a problem finding it.

hmmmm.... fixed it? so i just ended up buying a length of tube and patching inbetween. problem is tho..... i didnt notice anything different with my a/c or heat. good,bad, or doesnt matter?

That hose goes to a vacuum control for the "MAX" setting on your A/C.
