Eddie Bauer trucks
So, My dad's old (soon to be mine) 1994 F-150 is, supposedly, an eddie bauer truck. It's the dark blue metallic color with the gold on the bottom, tan interior, 302, auto, keyless entry, premium sound w/cassette, single cab, 2 wheel drive.
The truck has the eddie bauer logos on the back sides of the bed, but here's what makes it weird. -It is a 1994 - I read that the eddie bauer package wasn't avail. until 1995 -The truck is a long bed, I have never seen another long bed EB truck -The truck has "XLT" under "F-150" on the side badges...all the EB trucks I have seen do not have the XLT insignia. -The standard eddie bauer woodgrain on the dash was NOT on this truck, instead it was just one of those "joshua tree" aftermarket wood dash kits. So, I don't know, think this was really an eddie bauer truck or did somebody just have a blue / gold truck and add the stickers? Was the gold on the bottom even available on the F150 if it wasn't an eddie bauer? thanks Earl |
what is the trim code on the VIN sticker on the door?

I answered my question...found an eddie bauer f150 brochure from 1994...truck on the front cover had an XLT badge on it, was a long bed....they must have made all the changes to them to differentiate them from the rest in 95 and onto 96 I think 94 was unique / somewhat rare for the EB package...maybe...

Eddie Bauer was back to '86 on the Bronco, I'd have to research when the F-150s became available.

Looks like it started in 94 on the F150...
It started in 83 when the bronco II was introduced...my parents had a red one....brand new... |
