Limited Slip Differential

Anybody got any ideas of where i can get a Limited Slip differential? i need one for my pre-runner. Any websites out there to build one possibly?

junk yard for a stock one. look for axle code h9 for a 3.55 limited slip.

Two places:
1) On the vehicle ID sticker on the door jamb, under "AXLE" look for the code H9
2) On a metal hang tag on the diff cover, the secod line should read "3L55" The L signifes a limited slip.

FWIW Summit carries Ford Racing Parts limited slips, but they aren't cheap.

If i go through the junkyard how can i tell the LSD isnt junk?

any code that starts with a letter is a Track-Loc unit

If you are buying one from a yard, I would pull off the cover and visually inspect the gear's for wear.

i'd look at summitracing.com and get somehting better, the stock LS is use-less, Liked me tru-trac I had in my 96
