Why don't we have an owners gallery?

Is there an owners gallery for us with the older trucks? If not why not? I love to see pics of the 97 and older trucks. They give me great ideas on stuff to do to mine.
Talk to yall later,
JB

Well put swilson. I think we should all put in requests to the webmaster and then maybe we can get a gallery of our own.

Hell YA!!!

Problem is, were outcasts here really. This is for 97 and newer, and most members don't particularly like us. Oh well!

JordanB Mar 9, 2000 03:56 PM

Well then we need to try and recruit more 97 and older guys. We all know there are plenty more of them out there. There are more 97 and older f-series trucks out there than any other car on the road. Lets all write the webmaster and ask for a gallery.

I think that is a great idea! And besides, I'm sure we would see more fixed up older models since many people have had more time and money to add mods. to the older trucks than the brand new ones. If I want to see pictures of stock F-150's, all I have to do is take a drive through my city. I want to see some lifted 4x4's! And it is cool to get ideas for my own vehicle.

Besides, this website is dedicated to the late F-150 AND other fullsize Ford trucks. Well, older model F-series makes up a big part of that "other fullsize Ford trucks".

1990 F-150 4x4 XLT Lariat, fading 2 tone grey, reg. cab, short bed, 302 V8, Delta diamond plated toolbox, 4.10 gears with rear limited slip, shorty headers, flowmaster exhaust with dual 3" chrome tips, K&N air filter, great Alpine cd player, modest amp, subs, and tweeters, custom 15x8 rims, and p.o.s. 31x10.5" a/t tires.

Future mods. include a 1.5" front suspension lift, a superchip, 32x11.5" muds (not sure which kind yet), and a paint job!

Maybe be we ought to take over this site? Any of you guys thinking about starting a 1980-1996 site, similar to this? I'll help! There are more of us than the newer gen trucks you know. 16years you know. over 5 of the current

JOHNNY MC Mar 9, 2000 04:53 PM

Well, I don't know if there is actually a gallery for the newer trucks, just some other owners sites they can download (SS97)to and they have just played around with downloads pictures of everybody's truck now and then, heck WE can do that. Just a matter of starting a new thread. But yeah, I feel alittle uncomfortable whenever there is something good in the engine's section or whatever. And as many threads that have been started on pictures, I don't think? the Webmaster would mind if we kinda played alittle. Ha, I'll be first

there is a pre-97 pic site at www.ford-trucks.com/pictorial/index.html

Maybe we ought to bring some pics over here?

swilson75 Mar 10, 2000 12:10 AM

Because this site was created for the ever so popular, but less than reliable '97-'00 model F-150. I had a '98 and now have a beat up '89, and wouldn't trade that tride and true 302 for any of the new engines.

swilson75 Mar 10, 2000 09:51 AM

Damn, and I thought I was the only one who didn't like the new ones as well. I can't say I'd put my '89 in a gallery right now since it looks like crap, but I'll take any new one on light to light. And by the way, I think a website devoted to older models would be great, I just don't have time to webmaster one. I'd be more than happy to help also.

Hey guys... I work in web development for a living, and could make us Pre-97 guys a killer site if there's enough interested. If that's the case, then just voice your opinions, and maybe what you'd like to see in the site :-)
