Supercharging '91 Truck
Luckily we don't have emissions testing in New Mexico...
But I'm still going to shoot for staying as legal as I can. The treehuggers are going WAAAY too far if I'm "not allowed" to use non-stock parts on a rebuilt engine, even if it passes the tailpipe sniffer.
I spoke to Joe at ford-power this evening, and we're going to work towards staying emissions legal. I am probably going to stick with Ford 351w truck cams if possible... this should help with emissions AND help give the engine truck-like performance. Gotta find someone who can mount the engine...

Mike, what did he say about Efi or Carb? I think those engines are mainly built for a Carb, but aftermarket efi's work more efficiently thana Motorcraft setup would...
If it looks like a sleeper like mine, I wouldn't worry about them looking at it anyways.

I believe he said EFI. These are Ford blocks, by the way... Looking forward to hearing more about the installation process... He was to talk to a local Mustang shop this week and see if they will do the install for me, and take care of the certain computer-related issues...
