Never saw this kind of truck before
Yesterday as I was going thru an intersection I spotted a truck sitting at the Light. I had traffic behind me and couldn't get all the particulars.
It was an early 90's(maybe even late 80's) Ford. Kind of like a big Bronco except it had four doors.
It was the size of a Suburban or an Excursion except Excusions didn't exist back then.
It had a short bed with what looked like a factory removable cover, the same look as the Bronco.
It had a very large emblem on the fender the only part I could make out was '350'.
Was there ever a four door Bronco?
Did Ford make something like the Excursion in the early 90's?
It didn't look like a hack job, all the trim was correct.

Check out www.fourdoorbronco.com
Basicly the company took a crewcab F350, chopped the frame, and added a bronco rear making it a C-350
Another way was to take a F150, add a crewcab, and then put on a bronco rear making a C150.
They could be had in 4x4 or not, in all trim levels, C150s with 351s, C350s with 460s, 7.3L IDIs, or later Powerstrokes. There are actually a lot of them out there with most being in the midwest where they were made. Darn near all of em had slushboxes with only two registered on that site with ZF5s. The problem areas on them are at the roof seam where the bronco and crewcab parts were put together. Cent. used A LOT of bondo there and it now reaching the end of it's nonleaking life.
My quest has been for a 95-96 with a powerstroke and a ZF5. We thought that was a pipe dream till the other month when one showed up. I didn't have the funding however to make it happen for me.
Anymore questions just ask.
