Hood won't open.
 

I just changed the oil and had a hard time getting the hood to latch. I slammed it and now it won't shut all the way but it won't open either. I have tried pulling the handle in and out shaking it, driving it down bumpoy roads, etc. The secondary handle feels stiff and barely moves but I can't latch it or open it. Any ideas?

have you tried pushing down on the hood while trying to unlatch it?

I sat on it, beat it, sprayed it with lube, had the GF work the handle inside while I yanked the hood and the latch, no dice.:(

Managed to sneak a 10mm wrench in there and unbolted the latch assembly through the grille. It was all corroded. I cleaned it, lubed it, and now its fine.
