Can you smell that smell?

Well it looks like Obama care is unraveling before we even get to the care part.

Dems are proposing what the Tea party has said all along, at least a 1year delay. It's funny how the POTUS is saying he had no idea that there were any issues with the program before it was dumped on the American people (yea right, like fast and furious, Benghazi, IRS.......).

It's going to be interesting to see how the MSM spins all of this!

Not surprised, especially with the company (CGI Federal) that is doing the work. I used to work for them and got out of there realizing just how mismanaged the company is. You will also find that at least 50% of the tech employees are non-citizens. CGI likes to hire them as they can pretty much work them to death at a cheaper rate. That plus the fact that colleges are not training mainframe technologies any more means that they are about the only ones available. Many are very good, but as I stated, totally mismanaged by the company.

That plus the NSA spying on foreign leader's (France and Germany) phones have made for a bad day for Obummer. Oh, and Saudi Arabia has or will cut diplomatic ties with the US.

As much as I'd like to see the law posponed a year it won't be. The reason being is if they postpone it for a year then the Dems will be admitting that the GOP was correct and the shutdown was all Democrat. When you consider the last spending offer from the House before the shutdown was fully funding the government in exchange for delaying the mandate by one year, it makes it very difficult to spin it.

Absolutely true, but...

1) Only a very small percentage of Americans know that the House GOP proposed this.
2) Low information voters blame the GOP for the shutdown, and they will blame the GOP for the failure of Obamacare, too.
3) The Dems and media WILL spin this, and they will get it away with it, too.

As a matter of fact, there is Congressional hearing going on right now, and Dems like Waxman are already publicly blaming Republicans.

IMO, the media is going to pout for a few days like they did when they found out the Whitehouse was eavesdropping on the AP. But they will soon resume their love affair will all things Obama. Then it will be spin spin spin.

Obamacare stars run for cover. The stars are no longer touting Obamacare since all the problems. They have been advised to keep their heads down.

Until the narrative switches to immigration reform or gun control. Then all will be forgiven and the celebs can happily share the stage with Obama again.

Whatever damage their images have taken, the celebs will soon remember how important it is for Obama to prevail over the Tea Party. He may no longer be perfect, but they still LOVE him. Always have, always will.

FWIW, the MSM narrative is already changing...According to the emerging spin, the website will be fixed by December 15th. So I guess we can all just stop talking about it until then.

Thanks for the link, BTW.

From what I saw, CGI Federal as lead contractor got $290 million of the $635 million cost. Knowing the cost of other systems done for HHS, I have to say that this was a total ripoff. No way it should have cost anything near that amount. And I am talking the amount CGI got, not the total amount, so you know that this was pretty bad. And it doesn't work. Far worse than some of the DOD ripoffs of the past.

Oh, I'm sure it was a ripoff. The gov't is all about overpaying for sub-par work, always have been. I'm sure a few guys in that company got little back scratches for past favors . . .

I do however, like that the libs are in a bit of a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario right now though.

It gets even worse. Turns out that a top executive at CGI Federal was a classmate with Michelle. Also the contract for the Obamacare site was a NO BID contract.

Problem is that even if there was Kardashian style videos of the obummers with these people getting special treatment a large chunk of the population will still worship the guy. The Pied Piper has nothing on the guy.

Kingfish, that is so not surprising! The shamelessness of the Obamas knows no bounds.

In my book there at least 3 reasons he should not be president.
1 he is not living up to the oath of office.
2 he is a liar
3 he is stupid

If he isn't stupid then #2 is correct.

If he isn't a liar then #3 is correct.

And #1 explains it self. Any way you cut it he isn't fit to be president and should rot in the same jail cell as Eric Holder.

There is no way in h#!! That I would put any of my personal info on that web site, chances of theft are way too high.

When you said that the contract value was way too high, I wondered why a different company hadn't tried to under-bid them . . . already one the many reasons why gov't can NOT run any kind of business because they just run it right into the red because they have no personal interest invested.

It's quite ironic to pay for a website that costs more than the best of the best, yet it's sub-par and horrendous . . .
