forget the taxes needed to support our society. how about the amounts of families out there that generation after generation continue to collect welfare type programs but live in poverty and crime ridden locations and they just deal with those fears day in and day out so long as their collecting the monies that the working man pays to keep funding those programs cause of the lack of motivation and ambition those people have in life. a safety net is one thing if you fall into financial hardship but to go through ones whole life like that is insanity.

meanwhile the guy that goes to work every day finds that come tax time there was enough taxes taken out of the money he or she worked hard for all year to buy a whole other brand new car. take a portion of that from everyone that is working and i think youd find businesses throughout the entire u.s. would be doing a little better then they have been.

Does this shock you, it is a Dem from IL.
Same place Obama learned his trade.

Rep Schakowsky's husband had the same thought, that banks do not deserve to keep their money.

Sorry, that was bank fraud not policy.

Well maybe you should donate extra in taxes but don't volunteer me for it. :ll:

It's not wealth redistribution. It's spreading the wealth around so everyone can have some. Personally I have no freaking idea what the difference is, but Obama knows.

I think what he was getting at, don't take the taxes out, leave the money with the worker. They would spend the money on the economy.

Basically a full time version of the social Security tax holiday that this year has, but on the income tax side of things.

sorry i botched up my typing earlier. i meant if you took a portion of what the govt takes out of everyone thats workings paychecks and allowed them to keep it instead of using it to fund programs that give incentives for people not to go to work every day people across the nation would feel a little more comfortable putting some of that back into the economy for good and services

The auto ones are always a sticking point with me. Purchasing a used vehicle should be a flat rate. IL older used vehicle purchases from individuals are a flat 100.00 sales tax I think ( been some time since I purchased a used bike ).

The IRS wants a person to report if they sold a car for more than they bought it. If you sell a car for less than you bought it, they don't care ( ~98% of the population ).

I understand this is for serious collector cars, but one would think that an asset is an asset. I guess should we should expect more of this in the future if the control changes in the Ways and Means committee.

WOW, thats just nauseating knowing the government spends that amount of money and all those figures combined. so nearly all the money in the world basically wont ever cover the amount of money the u.s. spends in a years time. rediculous!
