so you want someone to sell or trade their console and shifter, and then just never be able to use their truck again?

good luck

Where in my post did I ever say I was trading my shifter and shifter cable. Not once. And how do you know there isnt someone 10 miles down the road from me that wants to do this, hmmm you dont know unless you try. I guess this is a wasted thread due to 2 douche bags that want to express their opinion so badly. Admins might as well delete the thread.

Sorry, Ride. You are sorely mistaken on who the DB is here, and vast majority would agree.

Why not just buy a console and then sell yours? That would be the LOGICAL choice.

Ok, guys, enough bickering. He obviously does not want any advice. And Ride, watch the name calling and the attitude. They were just trying to make sure you knew everything involved. Some don't and get caught in a mess.

I was first seeing if anyone wanted to trade, and again said i was throwing something out there on a whim. And I have someone interested in just buying it.

And again, I did not ask for HELP. Its no ones responsiblity to make sure I know what all is involved, but my own. I could understand if I created a thread in the general discussion section and asked about doing a swap, but no this in the for sale/trade section. And nor have I ever started a thread asking about the swap. But why beat a dead horse, creating a thread that has been discussed time and time again. I know how to search for things...which I did do before even thinking about doing this. And I think I have the right to "have an attitude" when ppl try to contribute useless information , that again was not needed, inregards to something they have no inclination in buying. And I see this again and again throughout the forum.

There is nothing wrong with the collective looking out for possible buyers. I've done it before and I'll do it again. In summary it is not useless information, it is information of most valuable importance.

I'll trade you even. Send me a PM. Oh, one more thing, you'll have to pay the bill for the rental until I get mine back up and RUNNING again.

I jump in and ask for clarification all the time. I see "04-08 tail lights" or "97-03 Rear Bumper" and I ask for clarification of flareside or regular bedside even though i personally dont need the part. I figure if i ask and clarify the seller's description then they can better target their market.

Trust me, ive been on these forums for almost 5 years now and i bet just about anyone you ask will tell you that I am helpful and will go out of my way to help people. But you're right on one thing. Im the douche bag
