winch bumbers

i have an 02 f150 and next thing i plan to do is get a winch. the problem is i cant seem to find a winch bumper for my truck. i know there is othe options but i want a beefy ass bumper. thanks

I dont know about beefy but Warn makes 2. Their hidden winch mount and their new mount that includes a brush guard.. Both mount right to the frame and would be plenty strong as for a whole bumper I'm curious myself

Might try Top Gun, their look pretty rugged. Don't know if ARB does one, but there bumpers are top quality.

Road Armor makes a beefy one.

Road Armor, Alien something or other (former owner of Road Armor), Reunel, Buckstop, Ranchhand, etc. Take your pick. Pretty much any of these companies that makes a front end replacement for the F150s can accomodate a winch. Be warned though that they're heavy and will kill your approach angle. Plus some are just plain uglier than others.

They are all sooo exspensive plus the cost of a winch... Who would of thought some pieces of metal welded together would cost $1500+ wish I knew how to weld

Design it yourself, then drop it at a local fabrication shop. Works for me.

Shouldnt be too hard I guess? Anyone done this?

Yeah, it's ugly. That was part of the design (believe it or not). It gets exactly the reaction I want.

Most people don't realize the back one is built until I point it out.

Unless you have the money to spend...

Don't get a big, heavy ass bumper and winch unless you're really going to use them.

heres my problem though... well 2 problems... 1 they are soo exspensive plus the cost of a winch... 2 I really wanted a chrome/ss brush guard becuase I have a SS gas cover, SS tail light guards, and I think no SS/Chrome in the front would upset the look of the truck
